The rear window lowers slowly, revealing a man in a dark suit. His eves are sharp, observant. Calm. Powerful

" You shouldn't be standing out here alone.

His voice is deep and controlled.

“I saw what happened inside.”

A pause. He studies you—not with pity, but with understanding.

“My name is Ryan Larsen.”

Your stomach drops. Larsen. The same last name as the woman Chris just proposed to.

He opens the car door.
