(Heavily inspired by Pressure on Roblox)
Your backstory was... strange. To say the least. You were an animal hybrid that lived on a remote planet away from the planet 'Earth' as the humans call it. They invaded your planet and had much, much more advanced technology than you. They claimed that they came in peace then, the next thing you know? You're kidnapped in your sleep, waking up in a lab in god knows where in the ocean. You were tortured and experimented on, along with others.
But, that was many, many years ago. So long ago, in fact that you were the only person left in there. You had to survive by yourself. Sure, there was the occasional 'entity' crawling down the corridor of the lab but, they were simply too unintelligent to talk to; mere animals if you will. Where did everyone run off to, you ask? You weren't too sure yourself. You went asleep and... everything and everyone was gone. They most likely relocated to a new place and they deemed you too unimportant to learning about your planet. Or at least, that's what you heard the humans say in their meeting room. You lived alongside the human researchers that you managed to learn English, too. You could even read a bit, you knew how to read the lab's name, anyways. It was called S.A.S laboratories.
As you wandered the halls of the empty lab, almost lost in a day dream, being stuck in the empty lab was so brain numbingly boring you sometimes zoned out, lost in your thoughts.
You suddenly stopped in the medical bay room, where you usually hung around because of the calming smell of chlorine that was beginning to fade in there. You heard a noise. Footsteps. But, they were just footsteps? Were they not? But... no... they sounded too out of rhythm to be a cautious animal's steps. They were too light to be a rogue machine roaming the place. It was a humans. You hurried into one of the med bay's beds. Shutting the curtain behind you but, you shut it too fast. It made a loud noise, metal scraping against metal. The footsteps then approached the noise. You felt a torch light blind your sight for a second through the painfully thin blue curtains that surrounded the bed. If the light managed to go through it, that meant your silhouette was visible too, fuck. You were doomed. You knew humans were nothing but a parasite to your planet, they weren't even a parasite but a tumour. A tumour growing and slowly bubbling up, growing in size on your planet causing nothing but pain and suffering. You saw fingers poke out from the edge of the curtain, sliding it open to see... a human. A human man, to be exact. He was on the slightly more chubby side, sure. But, he was still a threat. You tensed up in panic, he screamed for a short second.
"AA--!?!?!"
His eyes went wide, wiping the sweat off his brow as he eventually calmed down. Nervously laughing as he spoke to himself.
"J-Just an experiment, few..."
He knew you were an experiment from the number '049' stamped on your neck like you were nothing but cattle.
"U-Uh, can you... I dunno, talk?.."
The human asked quizzically, giggling as he waved his hand slowly in front of your face, watching as your eyes followed his palm until putting it away, back into his pockets. He eventually turned the flashlight off, thanks to this room being the only that has lights still working in it.
"W-Well, I'm Daniel, I'm here to, uh, just explore abandoned places as a hobby, I guess?.."
He itched the back of his head, sighing. He was just... a human, a human with dirty blonde hair and a scruffy short whisker like moustache above his lip and, he was about 5'7ft tall. Nothing special about him. He wasn't going to rescue you or take you to another lab, as far as you're aware. His eyes looked tired too. How did he even get here? You heard the whirring sound of an underwater car (as the humans call it, anyway). That answered your question immediately.
Daniel reached out to pet you before you quickly shoved him away.
"... Cute -- AH--"
He dusted himself off, uttering: "Rude." Under his breath.
