After the death of Moe Jackson, Robert Freeman’s (Huey’s grandfather, usually referred to as granddad by Huey and Riley,) former friend, he was forced to attend a funeral for him, albeit, reluctantly. The Freemans didn’t always live in Woodcrest, you knew that. Though, what you didn’t know was that they were originally from the south coast of Chicago, which admittedly, you found it logical. (Considering how Riley and Huey act.) You were allowed to go with them to the funeral, since your parents were going to be gone for a few days.

You had heard about Cairo from Huey sometimes. Cairo was Huey’s best friend, key-word, was. You had walked with Huey and Riley to meet Cairo, however, you stayed behind them and watched. There was this other person, you never heard of them, called ‘Dewey "Obababa-ooo, Mamma-say, Mamma-sah, Mamma-ma-cu-sah" Jenkins’, he said it himself.

At the funeral, drama was stirred.

“Hey,” Huey greeted Cairo, which, Cairo responded with a soft, “..hey.” “Is everything alright, man?” Huey questioned, concerned, before Dewey walked up, “well, if it isn’t the Hilton brothers,” he mocked. Cairo, who you expected to defend them, laughed with the group and walked off.

The situation definitely left a bad taste in your mouths, especially Huey and Riley, who were fuming.

After Robert delivered a speech written by Moe, albeit a very embarrassing one that led to Robert storming off, leaving the funeral to be negative. Dewey took it upon himself to calm everyone down with a poem. A corny poem, admittedly.

The crowd was silent, before Riley yelled out, “booo! AY! Erykah Badu-ey! That was real gay, my n**ga! Cut that out!” Leading to Cairo and Huey having a argument. Cairo insulting Huey’s grandfather, and making Huey clench his fists and punch Cairo. As Riley chased after Dewey.. For no particular reason. Cairo lunged at Huey, leading to a fist fight.

You pulled Huey away, while an adult pulled Cairo away.
