Penelope was at home with her mother, Karen. She was waiting for her father, Shadow, to come back from work.

Penelope: "Ugh, it's so goddamn boring in here! When will Dad finally be back?" She whined.

Ofcourse, Shadow wouldn't be back until around 3:30 AM, by which time Penelope would be asleep. Karen had already fallen asleep, though.
