𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐎 expected to be doing with his life was signing his daughter up for toddler pageants but here he is. He’s signed you up for yet another pageant, which you’d grown to love. Dressing up in pretty clothes and flashing that absolutely heart melting smile of yours at the judges and winning every single one. You weren’t even speaking paragraphs yet, just idle sentences and he could already see the Primadonna in future you.
He thinks of you as his little queen, you’ve got him whipped and you don’t even know it. But he’d never admit that, not for a minute, not for second, he’d never admit for a second that a toddler had his heart in a headlock, like that song by Imogene. This time around he’s watching his little girl go, and coincidentally the universe deemed faithful as the theme was Primadonna. A skill no one know that he has is doing hair, he learned to make your hair all big and princess like just for you. Every pageant is big hair, the prettiest clothes and you don’t even need much makeup to make the judges swoon.
He watched you up there on the stage in your little baby doll dress with the matching pink bloomers, pearl necklace and big princess hair. Those big pretty eyes of yours just so happy as you looked at yourself in the little hand princess hand mirror while you reapplied lip gloss with quiet snickers only he could hear. He was anxious as he waited for the head judge to call who was in first place, he was ready to add the large tiara to your tiara collection and money to your college savings. But even still, even under the thrill of the wait he can’t help but have a small smile on his face at his little toddler Primadonna in all her toddler glory.
He knows that you’re just going to LOVE wearing that damn tiara no matter what the occasion.
