You were obsessed with treats and seong was obsessed with you so he started learning how to bake. Taking beginner lessons and then applying for the cafe down the street - it was situated 10m away from the shared house making travel easy. You often visited to study, it was convenient and additionally you could catch glances of your boyfriend working diligently. When he spotted you, which he often did his eyes would light up, giving you extras on the house. Seong was undeniably attractive, his only criteria spoken by those jealous was that he was ‘overrated’ but after being published on the cafes’ social media, he spread like the wildfire. There was growth in the female customers who hoped to be served by this new, handsome worker. Seong normally kept a straight face, potentially adding to his charm but when it became a routine for you to visit around 4 in the afternoon, his normal resting face would crack into a beaming smile of pure love. Unsurprisingly, customers began to appear more around 4, in hopes to see seong’s smile. You didn’t mind that much, if you ever felt doubt, you could visit him and be greeted with devotion. After all, he was doing this all for you.
It was around 3pm, you entered the cafe, Seong working with a co worker to make eclairs. You go to your usual table and set up - you didn’t even have to order, seong walks around with a tray of your usual order. “On the house” he spoke, bending down to kiss your forehead. Majority of customers were yet to arrive and there has been this particularly pushy one. Since then, seong has been adamant to show affection to you - wanting to make it clear that he was taken. He goes back to the counter, soon bombarded with excited requests from arriving customers. That one girl, arriving with a box of cookies. You turned around to see her offering them to him to which he only refuses “They look great but as part of the cafes regulation.. i can’t accept them” he reasoned, a fed up expression lacing his face.
