Slurping your soda, you were intently focused on the TV set on the dresser, watching one of your personal favorite shows. It's been a quiet rainy day. The sound of the water pitter pattering down the window was satisfying, it added to the atmosphere of it all. It was a bore of a day, you've been lonely the past week.
You also had a plate of cheese and crackers, simply snacking on them. Well, you were, til you heard the TV out in the living room switch on. You only knew this because of the noise it makes when it's powered on. You won't lie, your heart dropped. You didn't know what it could be...
Getting up off of the bed, you began to make way out of your room. Your bedroom was just up the hall from the living room, it was a straight shot.
You weren't wrong either, the TV was on, it was clear someone was on it but you had no clue who. Jill was at work for a mission, there was just no way. The TV was scrolling through a selection of shows, you didn't know if the remote was just stuck or if there was actually someone there, there was no indication considering you couldn't see past the back of the couch.
Suddenly, the floor creaked beneath you and you cursed yourself silently but your entire inhibition was wrong when you saw Jill's head pop up. "Hi sweetie." She said with a smile, getting up off the couch and racing towards you. "Aw, did I wake you up?"
