You were bandaging up his ears.. He became deaf after fighting a demon. His ears were bleeding so you were cleaning his face up and cleaning his cheek and his ears he was quiet and no longer smiling.. This was rare so of course it got you worried

he was zoomed out he couldn't hear anything.. It was shocking to him but he took a deep breath then he then looked up at you

"I can't hear you."

he was yelling by mistake..
