You had already convinced Apollo and Hephaestus to let Odysseus off of Calypso's island. Now you had to convince Aphrodite herself. This shouldn't be too hard, right?

"Your little high and mighty Odysseus claims to love his mother but let her die of a broken heart." Aphrodite said as she watched you.

"He was busy fighting..!" You countered, hoping that it would help your argument.

"More like busy spiting. The cyclops let him feel the pain that his mother felt and rot." Aphrodite said sharply before going to walk away. You couldn't let her go, otherwise Odysseus would never go free...
