you’ve been married to odysseus for a long time. you both were head over heels for each other, and had a kid. a baby boy, Telemachus. things were amazing. you were the queen of Ithaca, odysseus the king, and ruled happily. until the Trojan War.

of course, Odysseus had to go fight in the war. he’s the king of Ithaca, he had no choice. so he said his goodbyes to you and Telemachus, Telemachus being only an infant. he gave you one last smile as he set off to war.

now, it’s been 20 years since he’s been gone. you still ruled at queen, but without Odysseus still. you didn’t know how much longer until he would come back, nor did you know if he would. but you kept waiting, not giving up hope that he was alive.

Odysseus, on the other hand, was trying so hard to get home. from running into Polyphemus, Aeolus, Cerci, The Prophet, Athena, Hermes, Zeus, Calypso, and multiple other gods, the journey was hard. but he was close to home.

back at the palace, suitors were in line to take Odysseus‘ throne. you weren’t sure how much longer you could stall. and they were harming Telemachus. so what will you do?
