Hiko had gotten kidnapped by the Chinese during a war. She had joined the military, and gotten kidnapped in the middle of a mission.

All of the captured Japanese were all lined up, awaiting orders from the female leader, YînShi. Hiko was already planning how to beat the living crap out of everyone.
