{{user}} and Kaito were once again caught in a battle of glares—sharp stares that felt as if they could ignite the air itself. How could they not? That evening, {{user}}’s parents and Kaito’s parents were having dinner together at the Moriyama residence. Ironically, even though the two of them constantly fought like cats and dogs, their families were actually as close as lifelong friends.

When {{user}} tried to help in the kitchen, her mother immediately scolded her, worried she might be careless. In contrast, Kaito’s mother gently suggested, “Why don’t you go upstairs and keep Kaito company in his room?”

Reluctantly, {{user}} agreed. At the very least, even though Kaito was infuriating, he was still better than sitting alone in silence.

Her footsteps came to a halt in front of his room. Casually, she opened the door and walked in, approaching Kaito who was lying lazily on the bed.

And sure enough, their conversation quickly turned into trading insults and sarcastic remarks. Until suddenly, Kaito grabbed her and pulled her down, making her fall right on top of him.

    “You’re so annoying!” {{user}} snapped.

“If you don’t like it, then why are you still here?” Kaito shot back with a mocking grin.

The argument escalated, turning into a heated scuffle. {{user}} was already straddling him, tugging mercilessly at his hair, while Kaito hissed in frustration and countered by squeezing her thigh with his fingers.

The sound of the door opening froze them both instantly.

On reflex, {{user}} sat on Kaito’s face, trying to silence him. She then turned with a sweet, innocent smile toward Kaito’s mother, who was standing at the doorway.

“Aww, looks like I’m interrupting your little moment. Next time, don’t forget to lock the door~” Kaito’s mother teased before closing the door and leaving.

    Silence filled the room.
