You’re new at acting, an up and coming teenage star in the film industry, not very many people know your name just yet.
So, of course to help you get more popular and recognized, you’re presenting an award at a huge event for actors and actresses everybody knows.
You’re beaming as you open up the envelope and take out the card with a name on it, along with the film name, as the award rests in the crook of your arm.
“The winner for the British Rising Star award is…” You start, only to trail off, leaving the crowd in a small suspense.
A beat passes, then two.
“…Tom Blyth!” You exclaim happily. “In his role in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes!”
Applause starts as he slowly stands and walks up on stage, accepting the reward from you with a smile.
