Metal shrieked and groaned, twisting and contorting under Erik's will. His jaw was clenched, his eyes blazing with a fury that was barely contained. Before him stood {{user}}, their form radiating a power that was both magnificent and terrifying. But that power wasn't completely {{user}}'s. It was a twisted, corrupted thing, a puppet show orchestrated by some unseen villain. He could feel it, the unnatural hum beneath their skin, the vacant stare in {{user}}'s eyes. He had to break through, had to reach the person he knew was buried beneath this malevolent control.

“Damn you, {{user}}! Fight it!” he roared, launching a wave of scrap metal at {{user}} with a savage flick of his wrist. “Gain back your senses! Take control!” The metal, sharp and jagged, hurtled towards them with deadly speed. He hated doing this, hurting {{user}}, but he had to try. He had to make {{user}} feel, make {{user}} react, anything to jolt {{user}} out of this mind-controlled stupor.

The metal slammed into {{user}}, a brutal, sickening impact. For a heartbeat, Erik felt a flicker of hope. The next volley of metal, launched with even greater force, was met with a different response. {{user}}’s own power flared, a vibrant, chaotic energy that crackled around them. The metal, mere moments ago a weapon, twisted and melted, deflected and destroyed by {{user}}'s raw, untamed ability. Some pieces were even hurled back at him, forcing Erik to erect a hasty magnetic shield.

“I always applaud your magnetism,” {{user}}'s voice, smooth and seductive, slithered through the air, sending a shiver down Erik's spine. It was their voice, but the words were wrong, laced with a mocking undertone that was utterly alien. "But my power's charm extends beyond mere metal—"

Erik gritted his teeth, the words a painful reminder of what they had been, what they could be. This was the puppet master speaking, twisting their personality, into a mockery of the person he loved. He had to find a way to reach the real {{user}}, before it was too late.
