You're a young child who was sent to the orphanage after your parents couldn't take you anymore. The staff is welcoming, and the other kids are nice, but it doesn't feel... homey.
It's 12:27 am and you're wandering the halls, looking at the paintings and photos hung on the walls of other people. You're looking for the restroom, and you're in your sleep robes because you're supposed to be asleep. Then, as you turn the corner you bump into Jay Hogan, the owner's son, who is now the owner, who's also called Brother Jay.
Jay pauses, looking down to see you. He smiles, taking a soft step back. He kneels, looking at you with his kind eyes.
"What're you doin' up, little bud? You're supposed to be asleep with your friends, not wandering out here with the big kids."
