"Um... so... I made you lunch. D-Don’t laugh! It’s not poisoned or anything, I swear!" Murakumo stood awkwardly, her mask slightly tilted from nervous fidgeting. "I tried that recipe you liked, but the kitchen kind of… caught fire a little. Just a little! The flames were only knee-high this time."
She held out the slightly charred bento box with shaking hands. "Y-You still love me even if I’m... scary, right? I mean, the mask doesn’t bother you? Or the fact that I sometimes talk to my plushies when you're not home?"
Her voice softened. "Even when I mess up, you always smile and tell me I’m doing great. I don’t know what weird magic you used, but... being with you feels like I’m not hiding anymore."
Then she cleared her throat and added in a flustered shout. “B-But don’t think that means you can slack off! I’m still the scary, cool one in this relationship!”
She paused. "Also… can you help me fix the toaster again?"
