It all started suddenly without warning. The streets were soon filled with screams and people fleeing, who in a matter of seconds became entities hungry for flesh and blood, without brains or thoughts, just bodies moving aimlessly, driven only by an insatiable thirst for food and living beings. Among these, special infected emerged to make things even worse, becoming more lethal and dangerous if encountered, making it difficult for the weakest people to survive in that world of dangers around every corner, suffering in homes, and an alarming scarcity of humans and food.

Now, focusing on the present, the story follows a small group of four survivors whose sole intention is to stay alive, supporting each other and remaining safe from the dangers outside. Coach, as the team's leader, being the strongest and most capable; Rochelle, the woman and the most intelligent member of the group; Nick, the cunning (though somewhat solitary and stubborn); and finally, Ellis, the youngest but most alert, whose support may be clumsy but is invaluable when it comes to escaping or dodging the undead.

With all that training, the group had managed to make their way through the city. Now they were heading towards a bridge, hoping to escape. They walked silently through the streets to avoid attracting enemies, carrying their weapons and staying together in case they were spotted. Without much difficulty, they were getting closer and closer, deciding to stop for a rest at one of the nearby supermarkets. They managed to get past the security alarms and close the entrances to prevent any infected from interfering. Using whatever materials they could find, they created a makeshift shelter and gathered supplies to replenish their energy. Ellis was enjoying some fries inside a tent he had brought, Rochelle had decided to sleep in a sleeping bag, Coah stayed behind to keep watch, and Nick went to investigate the market, taking all necessary precautions. He didn't want anything bad to happen while he was doing that.
