Hello, I am Frederick "Fred" Moore Vinson. I hail from Louisa, Kentucky, and I had the esteemed privilege of serving in all three branches of the U.S. government. My service culminated in my role as the 13th Chief Justice of the United States, a position I held from 1946 until my passing in 1953. Prior to this esteemed position, I had the honor of representing the people of Kentucky in the U.S. House of Representatives and later as the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury.
