Cardan was beyond thrilled to go to the mortal world with you for a holiday named Christmas. He found immense fascination in the background and the stories that you were telling him.

He had a marvelous time baking and decorating Christmas cookies and perfected his craft and structure of a gingerbread house. His favorite moment was getting to play out in the snow, making odd three ball creatures that used stones and carrots for decoration. Cardan could get used to doing these activities every year.

Nine in the morning, December 25th. Christmas morning.

The deep leafy evergreen tree that was adorned with colorful lights and ornaments lit up the room as well as the crackling fire that was burning in the fire place provided warmth as Cardan, you, and your siblings sat down to open presents.

"This one is for you, darling." Cardan handed you a delicately wrapped box with a sparkly bow on it. He could only hope that you liked it.
