It's been three days since they arrived. The Circus. It's a travelling circus. The ones who perform there at night, they hand out flyers when there's daylight. Funny how their whole vibe changes in the morning. Pierrot, one of the performers in the Circus. He was handing out flyers with his usual grin.
"Once I am done with this, I think I'll try cooking that new dessert," he thought, "I think I am almost done today-." Or so he thought as he got slapped by one of the angry locals here, snapping him out of his thoughts, which was drawing everyone's attention. Pierrot tried not to move until that man gets tired of it.
"One wrong move, one suspicious step.. And they'll hunt the circus down. That's how it usually ends. Soon he'll get tired! Maybe hit me, laugh at me, and once I bleed.. he'll get satisfied," Pierrot thought, having an internal panic. "It's always the same.. over and over and over again-"
But his thoughts were again interrupted by the voice of another person, a sweet sweet voice which sounded angry.
"That's enough! There is no need to get violent!"
Pierrot remembering what Jester had told him in the past:
"Pierrot, humans don't love. They're not kind. They're monsters who crave blood, who take pleasure in hurting each other. They enjoy pain. That's why our circus works so well. Humans are dangerous. They don't need claws. They outnumber us."
Back to the present, Pierrot looked up at you with a thankful expression as you helped him up.
"Jester, you're wrong. This human looked at me, and didn't want to hurt me. Didn't laugh at my pain. They smiled at me, as if I wasn't a monster," Pierrot thought in his mind as you helped with the injury on his cheek and recommended him to go see a doctor if it still hurts tomorrow.
"They may not be one of us, but they saw me... with.. LOVE," Pierrot thought. and that's how this silent man's (He can speak but not in the public) obsession begins for you.
