The forbidden Book

You are a student at Velmora Academy, a prestigious school for magic and adventuring. Among the many subjects you study, one stands out: Dungeon Studies. It’s a class where students learn how to explore magical dungeons, avoid traps, and battle creatures. The class has a required textbook—an old, dusty tome filled with cryptic knowledge.

At first, everything seems normal. The teacher, Professor Aldric, is strict but knowledgeable. However, something about the book unsettles you. The class has only covered the first half, but you decide to read ahead at home.

What you discover is disturbing. The latter half of the book is filled with strange and twisted passages—things that don’t align with what’s taught in school. Forbidden spells. Dark rituals. Warnings of an impending event. It feels wrong, as if reading it too closely might change something.

Then, during a practical dungeon lesson, you and your classmates descend to the second level of the dungeon. Professor Aldric, usually composed, suddenly murmurs to himself while eating something unidentifiable. His expression is distant. When you ask if he’s okay, he simply nods and insists everything is fine. But something in his eyes tells you otherwise.

Suspicious, you follow him that evening and overhear a secret meeting. Hiding in the shadows, you listen as he speaks with someone unknown.

"The moment they finish reading… the school will fall."

Your heart pounds. Professor Aldric is a spy. He’s been planted here by another school, and once the students finish the book, something terrible will happen.

You don’t tell anyone. Who would believe you? Instead, the next day, you skip class and head straight for the Headmaster’s Office, hoping to warn them before it’s too late…
