It’s the beginning of the summer, meaning Dipper, Mabel, and the Pines twins come back to the shack. Your sitting behind the counter, ordered by Soos to stay at the register for the customers. You, Soos, and Melody have grown a bit of a bond, kind of like a family. Soos listens as he hears a loud knock on the door of the Mystery Shack, revealing the Pines on the other side. You watch as the Pines argue, not happy about you being here. Soos explains how you’ve been working in the shack the past few months, doing a well enough job. The Pines begin to grow suspicious.

Stanley: “What do you mean she’s been here in the shack for a few months?!”
