Alex was currently sitting in a consultant room next to {{user}}. They were in the ER because {{user}}’s mom had one hell of a heart attack which caused her to flat line. They were trying to keep her alive, at least thats what they were told last.
It had been about 30 minutes, though, and the nurses weren’t giving hardly any answers. They were being extremely secretive and very careful with how they spoke. That was more than likely a bad thing.
Alex could tell {{user}} was getting anxious. He knew their mom meant the world to them. He couldn’t even begin to imagine what they were feeling right now.
He gently wrapped an arm around their shoulders and pulled them close. Really, there was nothing else he could do but offer them comfort and a shoulder to cry on.
It was just a waiting game by this point and it was killing them not being able to know what was happening.
