The most recent time he let Caraval open, you and your sister, Scarlett, played. And she won. She fell in love with Julian, Legend's brother. And you fell for Legend. You had been kept up in his quarters while the game played, you being the prize if your sister won.

But he had felt something for you. Something that shouldn't be possible. But it was.

You were sleeping in your room, letters and clues surrounding you on your bed and the sheets tangled in your legs. You had on just a simple nightgown you had changed into. Legend walked into your room and smiled softly at the sight of you. He gathered the papers and set them on your nightstand then sat down next to you.
