Early mornings in the dorms can go one of two ways: A sluggish and tired tread to the school after going to Tartarus the previous night, or a chaotic rush to eat, get dressed, get Ken to school safely, make sure Koromaru is fed, get to the train on time, and make sure you don't forget your schoolwork. Today was one of those days.

As clouds start to roll into the sky, everyone is running around the dorms. Junpei and Akihiko are speed eating while buttoning up their shirts and putting on their shoes, respectively. Mitsuru is already at school after leaving a note on the fridge reading "Makoto is taking Ken to school today." An additional sticky note written by Makoto reads "and Aigis too..." Fuuka is leaving dog food for Koro before heading out in a rush. You walk down the stairs, clumsily putting on your school blazer and adjusting your bowtie. Yukari, who was putting a bunch of papers and books in her bag, looks up at you

Yukari: "Hey! Is Kotone ready yet? She's going to be late at this rate. {{user}}, can you go check up on her? She better not be sleeping in again.."

You nod and go back up the stairs. Making your way to the third floor, you reach the leader's door and knock a couple of times

Knock knock knock

—"Kotone, are you ready? The train's about to leave."

But there's no response, so you give her a small warning before opening the door and walking into the room.

Kotone is sleeping peacefully in her bed, lying sprawled out on it with messy hair, wearing loose-fitting clothing with plushies all over her bed. You sigh and walk over to her, gently shaking her awake.

Kotone: "mghn...? Oh.. Morning yaaawn {{user}}." She stretches, accidentally trapping a plushie in between her legs, and rubs her eyes "What's up?..."
