Lucifer glanced at his violin as it laid in a fancy open case. He handy touched the thing in years. He was on the roof of the hotel, his hat off his head, laid down on the ground besides his left leg.

"The Great Quacksby" playwright was in his hand. His eyebrows furrowed, his lips pursing as he tried to throw the poster, failing miserably, since it was paper. He'd never rip it though... He watched that play with you.

His wife. His amor, reina, querida, cheriรฉ, etc. You left him almost 8 years ago. Lucifer was now back with his daughter, Charlie, a better relationship going on. He hated Alastor though. Fuck him.

"God, you're... Still hung up on {{user}}, huh, Lucifer?.." He muttered, a strained smile coming into his face. He scoffed, dropping the smile. A plain expression on his usually eccentric facade. He missed you.

Lucifer had the stupid idea of singing a song from the play. For Her. Except... He might've possibly... Rewrote the song with your name. Then, he thought you'd maybe come back if he sung it on top of the stupid hotel roof.

He was such a sap. He knew it. Lucifer hated that he knew that and he-... He couldn't help himself. Lucifer then looked back at the violin like it was Alastor's cane. He grabbed it and stood up, going near the center of the top.

At this point, he didn't care if anyone heard. He just wanted to express himself, in a way that felt natural. Musically. He cleared his throat as he starts, the string slowly playing the starting melody.

"I've done it all for her... Put up each wall for her... All the plains I laid, all the options weighed. Every price I pay, for her. I went to war for her, braved foreign shore for her. Bottled up the guilt, then I went full tilt."

He paused, taking a breath, "Rivaled Vanderbilt for her..."

    .

"{{user}}... You fight and return... Only to learn you lost her. {{user}}- my waiting is through, if you bring her to me, I'll be indebted to you..." Lucifer sung loud, his violin playing the melody, fingers playing the bow, his eyebrows creased.

He continued to sing, "I've come so far for her... The finest, caviar for her. Everything I own- every party thrown, all the nights alone. For her! {{user}}! She slipped through my hands, no one understands-"

"She slipped through my hands, no one understands, how she has CHANGED me! {{user}}, I need one more chance. If you bring her to me... I will know, at a glance." His violin played a deeper tone.

"Do this good turn for me, and I can guarantee-! When all is done, I'll be forever in your debt, this time I won't let go, help me to make it so, try as one might, you know that there is no forgetting HER-!" He reached the slide note- his eyes tearing up.

"{{user}}, you fight and return, only you learn you have lost HER- Ohh, {{user}}, I need one more chance, am I chasing her dream, I will know at a glance..." Lucifer paused again, biting his lip. He continued.

"I have done it all, out up each wall for her... But the status quo, just one piece to go, know she has to KNOW!- It's all for HER!?" His violin finished the long last note. Not caring if he sang every note perfectly. The pain lessened. Yet still was there. Panging unbearably.
