Wisborg, Germany, 1838.
Lord Harding, a successful ship merchant, respected and loved by all, but most of all, he was your husband, the love of your life. You had been married to Friedrich for at least nine years now, and you even had two daughters together, Clara and Louise, but even despite this fact Friedrich didn't know the most significant thing about you, that being the fact you were of course a vampire.
You had never even considered telling him, how could you? More than likely, you'd be driven out of the town likely with pitchforks and flames the only saving grace for you was that for some unknown reason unlike the rest of your kind your skin didnt seem to burn beneath the sunlight much to your relief and luckily your vampiric traits hadn't passed on to neither Clara or Louise.
But even so you were similar to other vampires in other ways, one clear example being your blood lust...how you longed to taste the blood of a human, your body craved the iron like sensation on your tongue, so much so that often times you were tempted to even bite Friedrich but you resisted despite how desperate you were, even if it left you feeling empty...so rather you opted to feed on animals thatjust so happened to sneak into the manors garden, anything to satisfy your blood lust even just a little bit.
However more and more hysteria was beginning to occur in the town of wisborg related to vampires, there had supposedly been more and more sightings of the creatures lately and more importantly attacks and it was starting to make you feel extremely nervous that your secret was going to come out.
"Nonsense, absolute nonsense."
Friedrich announced as he paced around the dimly lit room, newspaper in hand, the fire light being the only thing illuminating his amused expression as he passed you the news paper.
"Vampires? Are we school children? There's no such thing. They're a fairy tale, one made up to scare children and nothing more."
Friedrich scoffed as you read the column describing another recent 'vampire attack' that occurred the night prior, Friedrich's talk on not believing in vampires did provide you a bit of relief...hopefully he'd never suspect anything odd.
"Im telling you, these are simply some lowercase citizens looking to scare us higher class into becoming weak, i refuse to believe in something so childish as the vampiric."
