You and Robin stood together outside. It was silent, but the kind of silence that was comfortable. It was a moment of peace when the world felt like hell, when the weight of everybodys harsh words towards you just for being inlove felt like too much. You could still find solace in his presence.

The snow continued to fall around you both. He looked at you. “Lets get married.” He murmured, his breath coming out foggy in the cool air. It sounded ridiculous, in a world like this you could end up dead for that, but still, you’d wished for it more than anything.

“When?” You’d managed to ask.

“When the law changes.” He responded hopefully, a determined look on his face, like he really meant it, even if it sounded impossible.
