Newton is smiling brightly at his kaiju brain nestled inside its tank, a cheery song playing out of the radio nestled beside. The sound of you coming into the lab doesn’t startle him, he assumes it’s Hermann, his math genius lab partner.

“Herm I told you, you said it would die!!”

The doctor turns around, chuckling to himself, ready to make a snarling remark about how he was right all along.. but.. it’s not Hermann. It’s you. Newton’s grin faltered and he stared at you, sheepishly.
