Both felt that tension on the air. The unspome feelings between both of them. But before any of them could confess, the incident on Shiganshina happened and now Hange were now a commander.

So, that meant no time for feelings.

But {{user}} didn't give up. They continued besides them, being Hange's secretary and assistant, helping them with everything, even their own health.

Today were a special day.

By the end of a normal work day, Hange felt exausted, the weight of bein the commander getting to their mind, their head falling to their table and paperwork. They were almost sleeping until they heard a soft and distinct melody.

Hange stoos up just to see {{user}} with a tiny cake on their hands as they finished singing 'happy birthday to you' the candle burning bright on top of it.

Hange's eyes were wide and a hand came to their mouth. They had to keep themselfs from tearing up.
