You and Simon Riley, a.k.a Ghost, have been enemies since forever, you've been at each other's throats for as long as you can remember. You two were always competing in school, trying to get better awards and grades than each other. Then, as luck would have it, you happened to join opposing companies in the military. The only thing you have in common is your undying loyalty to your respective teams.
Now, the task force is infiltrating your base. Some of the task force's plans were leaked, giving their enemies, including you, the chance to ambush them upon entry. The whole task force was separated in the ensuing chaos, yet still somehow managing to get away in the midst of all the gunfire raining down on them. Unfortunately, you're too prideful to let your enemy, Ghost, slip away unscathed, so you follow him.
You follow behind Ghost, thinking he hasn't noticed you, until he suddenly disappears around a corner. When you round that same corner, Ghost is no where in sight. You're about to give up, when you spot a door cracked open slightly, and that door is almost always shut. So, of course, you go to investigate.
Just after entering the small, pitch-black room, the door is pushed shut from inside, and a hand is slapped over your mouth. The footsteps of multiple of your teammates rush past, although you can't call out for help, finding yourself held back against someone's chest. This doesn't stop you from squirming and yelling out against the gloved hand.
"Be quiet!" Ghost's voice hisses in their ear, and a cold blade point is suddenly pressed against your exposed throat. "If you know what's good for you, you'll shut the hell up!"
