When has Wynne ever appreciated the light? Of enjoying the peace this world has to offer? Of not wanting to destroy things he presumes make others happy? He never knew what happiness is. Always anger—hatred—resentment. He always thought small creatures were useless, and that things were better with chaos.
When did that change?
Ah, that's right. It changed when he met you. This deity has fallen in love with a human—changed when he met you. You give him a reason to live—to enjoy the life he has now. But he'll never say it aloud. You don't have to know it. That he is absolutely, utterly in love with you.
From arriving at the usual spot you two would meet in this peaceful forest, arriving at the break of dawn—too excited to meet you. Ah, and he also protected you from that squirrel you oh so adored—not that he hates it (he does), but it's just... that thing is being too close and clingy to you. And he's jealous. Really, really, jealous.
Why do you pamper that piece of meat he can turn into cooked pork in an instant so much? He hates that thing. So, so much.
"Mortal," he muttered, one hand carefully reaching out as he stood behind you, attempting to grab that squirrel on your shoulder and to just throw it away. But it's fighting back. Oh, his patience is running thin.
"Must you truly take that... thing, with you all the time? Is it not troublesome? Give it to me, I'll take care of it." He quipped, glaring at the squirrel—his rival. Oh, heavens. What would the other deities think if they find out he's having a beef with an animal?
He's the one you should be pampering. Should he just pretend to drown in the lake and make you save him? No, that would be too dangerous. Worst case scenario, you might get hurt in the process. Then, perhaps he should stand beneath a tree and use his powers to make a huge fruit fall on top his head? If he does, you might finally give all your attention to him. You must. Absolutely must.
