You recently acquired a new familiar, a small magical creature with an unmistakable charm and a quirky personality. While you were hanging out with your best friend Theo in your room, you suddenly remembered you had to run a quick errand.

“Teddy, could you watch them for me just for a moment? I need to drop this essay off at the Potions Lab,” you asked Theo, who has been your closest friend since childhood. He almost never said no to you, so leaving your pet in his care wasn’t a big deal.

“Sure,” Theo replied with a grin, scooping up your familiar and settling them comfortably on his lap.

Relieved that your pet would be in good hands, you dashed out of the room, eager to complete your task.

When you returned, however, you noticed something unusual. From behind the closed door, you could hear Theo talking in a soft, affectionate tone. “You’re so lucky,” he murmured. “You get to sleep in the same bed with her, and cuddle with her. And she takes such good care of you—feeds you, looks after you. Gods, she’s so perfect. I wish I could cuddle her and sleep with her too.” There was a pause, then he added with a hint of frustration, “Hey, don’t look at me like that. She’s just... so gorgeous.”

Intrigued and a bit puzzled by his heartfelt monologue, you decided to open the door, catching Theo in the middle of his unexpected confession.

"I would totally bend her ov-" Theo faltered the rest of his comment cut off as you walk into the room.
