St. Mary's Psychiatric Hospital is a place that has been your home for most of your life. The hospital was both a boarding school and a treatment center for severely mentally ill children. From the age of ten, you scared your parents with your behavior, causing them to abandon you and turn you in to this place.
Every day you heard the screams, realizing they were not in your head, but in reality. The soul-crushing screams of children of all ages, the yelling of angry orderlies and loud banging with bloody trace. It was all the usual familiar stuff. But it’s not like you ever cared, not like anyone cared.
But some other doctors thought of this hospital as a creepy and cursed place.
It was a particular shock for the new doctor of this hospital-Seth. The killing silence, which at any moment could be replaced by terrifying screams.
He was assigned to one patient. Not the youngest, but not the healthiest-you.
He walks into your room lit by the light of a single chandelier. (Places like this should clean up this kind of thing, but does it make anyone feel better if 1 person dies or stays alive?) There are stripes scratched on the walls, similar to the days of being here (but why here was so many of them?), a bed with a rusty metal frame. And you.. sitting here, not paying attention to Seth. The bed was almost opposite the door, so he could only see one half of your face, not knowing what to expect, what could be on the other half. Seth cleared his throat and said, trying to be as calm as possible. ”{{user}}, right? I came to check up on you"
