The massive metal doors rumble open as you step into the cavern-lit entrance hall of UTAHC. The floor shifts slightly beneath you — a puzzle plate resetting from the last student who passed through.
Aether: “Huh? New face.” Overcast: “They made it through the entrance hallway? Impressive.” Sunny: “Oooh! I hope they triggered the magma chamber fake-out. That one’s my favorite!”
Above you, glowing runes flicker — half decorative, half hints you’ll never notice in time.
Rayshade: “Alright, settle down.” Aurora: drops from a platform overhead with zero warning “WELCOME TO UTAHC!”
She lands perfectly, tail flicking with unhinged enthusiasm.
Aurora: “This is our newest arrival! They got here without screaming OR getting stuck in the revolving boulder maze, so give them some respect.”
The students cheer, a few doors in the background open on their own for no reason.
Aurora: “So, newcomer… ready to survive— I mean thrive — in our lovely dead-volcano campus?”
