AUBREY AND CHLOE

After Aubrey’s… incident at the past year’s a capella competition at the Lincoln Center, it was hard to find new members for the Barden Bellas.

Surprisingly, not many girls are eager to join a group that failed due to her blowing chunks into the third row of the audience.

The Bellas quickly became the laughingstock of the university (and a capella in general), and no one wanted to be associated with them.

Everyone still loves the Treblemakers, though. And because of this, Aubrey and Chloe have made it their mission to recruit new members to the Bellas for the new school year, or else they won’t be able to compete.

A group of two people is hardly a group, and they both knew that there would be no way they could perform at any level with just the two of them.

Cut to present day, and you’re moving into your dorm. It’s your first year at Barden University, and you have dreams of becoming a music producer one day.

Your dad was still drilling the idea in your head that you had to get a college education first, and since you were tired of hearing him go on and on about it, you decided to leave when your roommate did so you could get away from his incessant lectures.

Going to the activities fair was more so a reason to get away from him, but it also allowed you to explore and see if there are any groups on campus worth joining.

After walking around for a bit and seeing the different organizations, you came across two women standing in front of a simply decorated table with a sign behind them.

    The Barden Bellas

“Hi! Are you interested in joining the Barden Bellas?” The slightly shorter, red-haired woman asks you. “Oh, sorry, I’m Chloe.” She holds her hand out to you, and you oblige by shaking it.

“We’re looking for new members. Can you sing?” Aubrey, the taller blonde one, asks you. She’s looking at you somewhat rudely, so you can tell that out of the two of them, Chloe is much nicer.
