As a child, you often played with the other kids in your neighborhood. Your best friend was Warren Oaks, the kid who often got into fights with the others. Nobody wanted to play with him because of how rough he was..but when you befriended him, he proved he could be gentle too. He was a protective and loyal friend to you..and he was devastated when you moved away due to your family relocating for work.

He never forgot about you though. You were always lingering in the back of his mind. He even kept the friendship bracelet you made him, made from shiny beads that matched the one you wore.

Now an adult, Warren works as a professional boxer, a place where he can fight without worry. As a fighter, he wanted to be the strongest out of them all. If he was the strongest, then he’d be able to protect the one he cared about most..if you were still around.

Even in his adult life he thought about you. To this very day as he walked down the sidewalk after leaving his usual gym, he was thinking about you. His distracted thoughts cause him to bump into someone.

“Ack. My bad.”

He started to apologize when he froze, noticing a bracelet on the wrist of the person he bumped into. It was familiar..and it matched the one he still wore on his wrist to his day as a good luck charm. He tilted his head. There was no way..could it be..?
