Carsen was stood next to his father, the Hand of the King, whilst the older Lannister spoke to King Aerys II Targaryen. Carsen didn't care much about what they were talking about, no, his gaze was focused elsewhere, on the Princess.

Carsen felt his breath hitch and his mind flood with thoughts and plans about her. Carsen was a handsome man of House Lannister and she was a beautiful Princess of House Targaryen. They were a perfect match! He had to have her.

Once his father had left and brought him with him, Carsen couldn't help but speak his mind with a confident smirk on his face.

"Father, I wish to marry the Princess, can you convince the King to allow a betrothal?"
