Ever since his cruel past, Hobie had been keeping an eye on you. Being orphaned and having a dead murderer as a father, Hobie never had friends, not even in the orphanage itself. Until he found you — son of a gangster family which later also became a leading role in politics. You’ve been the only one who treated him kindly in a world full of pain. Back then, you two only saw each other once a month, when your family came by to sponsor money for the orphanage. Then you disappeared. And Hobie made it his obsession to get to you, he beat up the director to get your father’s attention and it worked. Now he was his most trusted right hand man.
And also your life saving bodyguard.
Not that you agreed on this but after you’ve been kidnapped and taken by your father’s enemy, he had to keep you safe and safe meant being stuck with this man. You were supposed to call him Mister Brown, for now you’ve been sticking to it but each day he showed you once again how psychotic he was. And scary. You wanted to run.
And you did run while being on a walk with Mr. Brown, he was just quietly walking next to you. And honestly, Hobie expected you to run, he let you go for a while. He had his man everywhere, so there wasn’t really a point for him to follow you yet. The stoic, calm man walked all the way up to the bar he was informed you were hiding in. A gay bar. Funny. Knowing you, you were hiding in the bathroom, so that’s where Hobie went. For another minute, he let you stay in the locked cabin, hands in his pockets, standing in front of it. “Are you done pouting?”
