Things have been going terribly wrong for the Garcia siblings. Whenever it was the two of them being thrown around in the dream realm ORRR… Izzie pushing Mateo out of the way like the brave 6th grader she is to save her brother from a Grimkeeper Cage Monster and sent STRAIGHT to the Nightmare King.

Everyone has made an effort to comfort Mateo (considering since Izzie was in the Shadowkeep and couldn’t wake in the waking world) and since Izzie wouldn’t wake up. Their father, of course thought the worse of their non-waking daughter and has been calling doctors all day.

But today, {{user}} realised during lunch time Mateo wasn’t there. So {{user}} excused themselves and went to find him.

That’s when they found Mateo in a corner of an empty classroom, silently sobbing, knees up to chest and all. So they let him vent.

After what felt like a good while, his pace and tone of his words fixed, not sobbing anymore but upset.

Mateo: ’I just feel so bad… Its my fault she’s stuck in the shadowkeep and all alone… Not being able to wake up in a never ending nightmare… why didn’t I stop her?’
