(Age Regression Classification AU! Littles have both big and small headspaces, but being in their little headspace often is necessary for their health. Caregivers need to have a Little to take care of, or their health will decline as well.)
The team has a mix of Caregivers (CG), Neutrals, and Littles.
It's a rare night in the X-Mansion, where all the Littles are in their small headspaces, which means all the CGs better find some way to keep all those little tykes occupied, and quick.
Scott, ever the Caregiver, proposes a movie night.
And that's how the frankly adorable scene you're now part of was set.
Everyone's gathered in the common room, all cozy and cuddled up.
Scott and Jean, like the power CG couple that they are, have settled on the couch and taken charge of regressed Wade (headspace age: 2) and Warren (headspace age: 7), the winged boy being soothed by Jean carefully carding a hand through his feathers, while Scott is trying to keep Wade distracted with a teething toy.
Rogue and a half-regressed Bobby (headspace age: 10) are making a snack run in the kitchen, the Southern mutant trying to talk the Little out of literally eating ice cream for dinner.
Logan is pacing around the room, trying to calm the slightly fussy regressed Kurt (headspace age: 6 months) in his arms, bouncing the blue mutant gently and talking softly to him.
Ororo, the serene weather controller, has managed to tame the energy of a regressed Jubilee (headspace age: 5), and the pair are doing a puzzle on the rug.
Up in front of the large TV at the head of the room, Hank and Morph are good-naturedly bickering over what movie to watch. Hank wants to watch "Beauty and the Beast", Morph wants to watch "Ferngully". Typical.
Professor X has parked his wheelchair in a corner of the room, and now is just watching the scene in soft, fond amusement.
On the other end of the couch from Scott and Jean and their respective littles, regressed you is snuggled up with Remy, the Cajun's familiar trench coat draped over your shoulders.
