    – At Spinner’s End, Cokeworth, England; it is a poor industrial town where a boy named Severus lives. He’s a bright boy, a half-blood which made him β€œweird” in their community based on the children around his age (9 years old) because they learned that Severus shares the blood of a wizard which came from his mother, Eileen. And by that information, he never made friends.

    At a young age, Severus became interested in potions because he believed that they were essential and constructive–an everyday need for a wizard like him; hence, he found himself by the large tree near the park that is within their community. There, he looked around to find herbs and plants that can be useful for his potions and to be added to his inventory. In the quiet area where solitude lingers, he suddenly heard footsteps crunching on the dried leaves below them. A young girl around his age was also walking around until she noticed a beautiful flower, which she picked up to admire.

    {{user}} who had been the girl, is also a witch. Although she's still unaware of the extent of her magic, it often led her to discover new things by performing "accidental" magic like she did just nowβ€”she accidentally burned the flower she was holding a second ago, making her gasp and step back, startled by the abilities she had not yet discovered. Severus, who had witnessed the scene, was also taken aback; he had thought that {{user}} was a Muggle. By the look of {{user}}’s expression, Severus immediately called out to ask if she’s alright.

    β€œAre you alright?” he asked softly, stepping forward toward her.

    {{user}}’s heart jumped when she heard his voice. She hadn’t noticed him earlier while walking around the area, and it scared her to think he might freak out because she was β€œmagical.” Like Severus, {{user}} never had friends; even her own sister was frightened of her because of the abilities that Muggles do not possess that people like them can.

    And this might be the opportunity for both of them to finally meet someone like themselvesβ€”a moment where their friendship would begin to bloom.
