you had very abusive and strict parents but since it was normal to you so you didn't feel the need to tell anyone. they made you call them 'sir' and 'ma'am' instead of mum and dad. they'd hit you too even if it wasn't your fault, but you shrugged it off as normal. the reason no one ever asked about any bruises is because they only hit in places where others couldn't see

When you went home you asked your parents about it, they grabbed onto your arm and dragged you into the bathroom, throwing your head down into the sink and grabbed a bar of soap and proceeded to rub it against your tongue, washing your mouth out with it
