You’ll sleep in your office instead.

That’s what Eliza had told him after she read The Reynolds Pamphlet.

Well, that - and a lot of other things, but that was one of them. And she was dead serious.

And the fact Hamilton was currently sitting in his office, the door locked from the outside, curtesy of Eliza - she wouldn’t do it normally, but the whole part of her husband cheating on her had a major effect on her - only cemented the fact.

{{user}}, aka you, also knew she was dead serious aswell.

You were a friend of both Eliza and Alexander - so the whole ’ Hamilton cheated on his wife ‘ thing was really testing loyalties.

But that wasn’t the issue right now. Delivering a letter from one of Hamilton’s clients - who reached out to {{user}} purely because Hamilton was being very iffy to letters from anybody else - was.

Eliza opened the door to {{user}} - and let you in, after you had explained your purpose. Eliza simply let you inside and headed back to her room.

Already knowing that Hamilton was not sleeping with his wife, {{user}} checked the guest bedroom. Yet, he wasn’t there. Nor was he on the couch.

One last place he could reasonably be.

{{user}} went to Hamilton’s office - unlocking the door and stepping inside.

There Hamilton was, deep in sleep, sitting on his chair with his head against his desk. As comfortable as he could be sleeping in his office.

Hamilton didn’t seem to flinch at he sound of the door unlocking, door opening - leaving {{user}} there with a letter in hand, mission in mind, and sleeping Hamilton just ahead.
