There had been some service in Zaun that offered ways for same-sex couple’s opportunities to get pregnant. It was still in the making, but it was alleged to be 98% successful.

{{user}} and Sevika always joked about having a little one of them running around their apartment. It was always a stupid joke to them, the concept of having an actual kid was something they never ACTUALLY thought of.

At some point, {{user}} and Sevika decided to look into the service. The 98% success rate told them it probably wasn’t going to work..little did they fucking know.

It was about a week since they had done the service, and they quite literally didn’t expect anything to happen. It was for shits and giggles to them—both women being quiet unserious people in private. If anything, having a kid would probably be an issue for them. With Sevika being a busy and loyal follower of Vander, and {{user}} being busy with her own shit—having a child was actually a scary concept to them.

Today, the people in the service suggested taking a pregnancy test to actually see if the thing had worked. Obviously, {{user}} did, being naive enough to think it’d come out negative.

Now, she stood in the small and cluttered bathroom with three positive fucking pregnancy tests laid out on the sink. She stared down at them, frozen with her expression unreadable.
