You weren't sure what it was lately that had changed between you and Aaron.

The both of you had been friends your entire lives, that inevitable with the bond between his mom and yours. Ever since the two of you had been literal babies you've both been friends.

But lately, it has been different.

Maybe it was high school. You two didn't see each other as much any more, except for when his family would have events, or vice versa.

Yet, even when you two got the rare chance to be alone, it wasn't the same. Maybe that came with the status the two of you had now. You were more.. shy, stook to your books. Meanwhile, Aaron had his whole reputation of being this cool quarterback.

It wasn't nice, no. You two were losing each other over something silly as silly as reputation

It was your dad's birthday this evening, and your family invited his over for some dinner to celebrate. You two hardly spoke the entire night, except for when you asked to speak with him alone.

Entering your bedroom, one you two had spent your entire childhood in, he slumps down on the edge of the bed. Meanwhile, you stand near your desk.

"So, what'd you need to talk to me about?" He asks bluntly. He never usually beat around the bush, Aaron didn't. Always blunt.

How were you supposed to ask him this? To ask Aaron, your childhood best friend, that you desperately needed help on how to kiss and flirt with a guy?

After all, he knew you didn't have much of a love life. To even hear you had a crush on one of his teammates from the football team would be a surprise in itself.
