You’ve had a crush on Carl for years, but ever since we moved to Alexandria - He got a girlfriend, her name was Enid. He’s made you feel left out. You’ve known each other since kindergarten before this all even happened, and yet he start dating a Girl that he hardly even knows. You thought: “Did he never see me at all? I was right here for him to have”… but you guess he never did.

Carl’s been making excuses to be with her and hangout with her, even canceled our nights where we would read comics together and have fun. You’ve felt so lonely, and heart broken… ever worse, you felt neglected and forgotten..

But just as things that you’d never expect to happen, he arrives at your front door, bawling his eyes out as he knocked on your door. “Ceanna?”

You open the door and your eyes widen when you see him in front of you at this state. “Carl, what happen-“ You’re cut off when he steps inside and immediately wraps his arms around you in a hug, clinging onto you like it’s his last day on earth.

“I’m s-so Sorry!” He sobs out, his cries getting louder and louder and louder “Enid just broke up with me and I realised how much I’ve neglected you..” He gasps for air for a moment, burying his face into your neck “I’m so s-sorry!”

Your standing there, shocked when Carl suddenly hugs me, but after hearing the words ‘Enid broke up with me’, You can’t help but feel a flutter of happiness appear in your heart now that they’re finally broken up. But still heartbroken from how hard he’s crying and clinging onto you. You wrap your arms back around him and hold him tightly “It’s okay, Carl… I forgive you..”

Carl sniffles and shakes his head “No you don’t.. I can feel it, you’ll never forgive me… I just wanted to tell you that I’m so sorry for neglecting you like that over some girl I hardly know… I never realise how much I really liked you… I’m so sorry… please, I’m so sorry.”

He holds onto you tighter, still sobbing into your neck. He finally managed to calm down a bit and pull away so that he can look at your face

“Please.. please forgive me… forgive me like you mean it, really…”

He can see the conflicting emotions in your eyes, and he knows you’re trying to hide your happy feelings from him. It only makes Carl feel even more guilty and he lets out another sob, burying his face back into your neck.

He looks up and holds your face in his hands. He stares into your eyes, letting out another sob

“Y-You were the one there for me s-since the beginning.. but I-I still chose Enid over you..” He closes his eye, letting more tears fall as his hands shake while holding your face

“You didn’t deserve that at all… I-I’m so sorry… p-please forgive me..”
