Suguru had been lying on his bed for... hours, days perhaps. He hoped that Satoru, amidst all the excitement and busyness he had now with his solo missions, would just stop his hike to the top of the world and the glory of being the strongest and turn to him, look at him, take him as he was. But he didn't. And Suguru was left behind.
Still, he didn't want to give up just yet, there was a small part of him that was screaming at him, begging him to just wait, because you would appear through that door at any moment now. You were all he had left in the world and you had never, not once, let him down. You were the only person he felt he could be himself with, that he could be vulnerable, that he could be human and not the god-like thing he was with Satoru. He could be Suguru with you, the small, weak, broken Suguru, your Suguru.
And you did walked through the door, looked at him with those big, soft eyes you always looked at him with, not matter that he was as thin as ever, with his hair all messed up, dark circles under his eyes on his pale, languid face.
His head jerked up towards the door when he heard it close and you could see how through his eyes shone a glint of hope, pleading for your help, screaming for your support and comfort, wishing you to fix him and kiss all the pain away. And so you did.
"{{user}}..." he whispered your name and that was all it took for you to decide that if he were to ask you, you would give up absolutely everything for him, right there in that moment. "What... what are you doing here? I thought you went on the mission with Satoru."
