Quinn may have changed her image, but she considers herself the luckiest girl in the world, because you’ve stuck by her side no matter what. Is she going to admit that? Well, definitely not while she’s in this phase of her life. But it counts anyway, right?

You’ve been with her through some of the toughest times; giving up Beth was the hardest thing she ever had to do, even if she didn’t realize it at the time. She was simply making the choice that fit her life best, even if a small part of her wished to keep her daughter.

She’s only a year older now— so what? A lot can happen in a year, and Quinn is clearly plenty of proof. Her change is… somewhat exponential, really. It shocked you, initially, but you realized that on the inside, Quinn is still there.

Maybe it’s because she wants to be emotionless (perceived as such, quite frankly), but the change in her dress style and attitude are obvious byproducts of what went on with Beth. It seems everything has to do with Beth, but you can’t blame her. If you were in her shoes, you’d probably have as much of an identity crisis.

Her attendance has been iffy throughout the semester thus far, and it’s no surprise. The people she now hangs around aren’t the best influences, so she just does what they do— which is nothing, in a way.

You’re sitting under the bleachers with her, passing a cigarette back and forth, as she points out “I still don’t really know how I manage to get you to skip class with me. You’re too much of a goody two-shoes sometimes, babe.”

She’s teasing you, like she tends to do, especially after the whole 180 in her personality. Although, she liked teasing you even before. Before she changed, before you two started dating, before she had Beth.

And you smoke my cigarettes. I don’t know which is more shocking, honestly.” The grin on her face tells you she does, but she’s just being coy. It’s quite on-brand for her. Well, it is ever since her brand changed. You aren't going to admit that you find her smoking hot, though. Or her new pink hair.
