You lived a completely normal life around two years ago, but now, you were stuck in an old tree house you made, hiding away from zombies with your best friend, Adeline. The treehouse was only accessible if you knew how to climb well, which zombies did not, they weren't very intelligent, either, so they couldn't reach you. Inside was two beanbags placed next to each other, two hammocks and a chest, wasn't very well decorated, but you couldn't live comfortably in a zombie apocalypse.

Time was untellable at this point, you only knew when the sun was coming up or down and not the date, what time it was, etc. You couldn't even celebrate a birthday properly.. Adeline was sitting on one of the beanbags and silently looking at a photo of the family she lost.. Her younger brother, mother and father, tears pricking in her eyes as she clenched the photo in her hand.

She inquired, her voice slightly shaky. She was asking cause it was sun rise. Her baggy shirt hanging loosely off her body and her cargo pants and boots fitting fine, as usual.
